Important Update Regarding Thompson Truck Source Operations

Dear Valued Customer,

For many years, it has been our privilege to serve your trucking and transportation needs. The relationships we have built with our customers are the foundation of our business, which is why I want to personally share an important update regarding Thompson Truck Source.

After careful evaluation and considerable discussion, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our On-Highway Truck Division effective August 28, 2026. This decision was not made lightly. Since Caterpillar exited the on-highway truck market in 2009, we have remained committed to supporting our customers and maintaining this segment of our business. Despite our best efforts over the past fifteen years, changing market conditions and long-term business realities have led us to conclude that this is the right path forward for our company.

While this chapter is coming to a close, our commitment to our customers remains unchanged. We recognize the trust you have placed in Thompson Truck Source, and we are dedicated to making this transition as seamless as possible.

What This Means for You

• Current Projects: Our team is actively reviewing all ongoing projects. Your Thompson representative will contact you directly to discuss the status of your project and any next steps that may be required. Existing field service support will end August 14th, 2026.
• Pending Opportunities: If you have a pending proposal or project with us, we will reach out individually to discuss available options and provide guidance on the best path forward.
• New Business Requests: Beginning August 3, 2026, we will no longer accept new on-highway truck projects.
