[Hanceville, AL] – Thompson Tractor, the Alabama and northwest Florida Caterpillar dealer, is pleased to announce the opening of a rental store in Hanceville, AL. Thompson Rents is proud to be opening their 14th rental store, located at 6307 County Rd 490 in Hanceville, AL. Doors will open on March 20th, 2023. Store hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. A ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration for employees, customers, and vendors will be held on April 20th.
Thompson Rents of the Cat Rental Store network offers a broad line of construction-related equipment including Cat earthmoving equipment, aerial equipment, pumps, generators, concrete equipment and much more. This Thompson Rents store will also have a full-service hydraulic hose shop. Thompson Rents plans to work with local customers to learn their needs and begin stocking requested hose fittings so all customers can get any hose built quickly.

The conversation about adding a new Thompson Rents store in Hanceville first started in July of 2021, and construction was officially completed in March of 2023. The building is 7,500 square feet and positioned on three acres of land just one-fourth a mile east of I-65 off of exit 299. The Thompson team worked with many city and county officials during the building process whom they praised for their attitude and work ethic.
