Thompson Tractor Adds Two to their Executive Team

Thompson Tractor has named two new executive team members to start off 2024, Beverly Virciglio and Jimmy Tew.

Beverly Virciglio is the new Chief Financial Officer at Thompson Tractor. Beverly started her career at Thompson in 2022 as the Director of the Family Business Office. In her new role, she will oversee the finance, accounting, and human resources departments as well as the family business office. Beverly is a CPA and has over 28 years of experience as a public accountant at Warren Averett, LLC, where she worked before joining Thompson. Beverly graduated from the University of Alabama, with a major in accounting and psychology and a minor in sociology. She is a member of Church of the Highlands, the Estate Planning Council, the Tax Leadership Council, and the Remy Fund. Outside of work, Beverly loves Alabama football, being on Lake Tuscaloosa, spending time with family and friends, and caring for her two dogs.

Jimmy Tew is the new Vice President of Thompson Rents, the equipment rental division of Thompson Tractor. Jimmy has been at Thompson since 1999 and was vital in starting the rental division. In his time at Thompson, Jimmy has served as a Branch Manager, the Operations Manager for Thompson Rents, and, most recently, General Manager of Thompson Rents. Jimmy is married to his wife, Michelle. Together, they have four children and five grandchildren. Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family, working on his property on his tractor, and playing golf with his wife.
